Amy is the heartbeat of Okoboji Realty and has been vacationing at the lake, living at the lake, and loving the lake since 1967. She grew up on West Lake Okoboji, on Fairoaks Beach, and now lives on Egralharve Beach. She is extremely passionate about the Lakes area and has enjoyed sharing her wealth of knowledge with sellers and buyers since 2002. Amy has an infectious positive attitude and genuinely loves getting to know her clients and helping them in any way possible.

Amy’s favorite hobby is giving back to the community that has been so good to her and her husband, John, and their three grown children. She volunteers for the Spirit Lake schools and is on the board of the Built for Others Foundation. She is also serving second terms on the Okoboji Foundation board and the Iowa Great Lakes Board of REALTORS®.

In the real estate community, Amy was awarded REALTOR® of the Year by the IGLBOR in 2017. This honor acknowledges an ethical and civic-minded professional whose efforts have enhanced the REALTOR® organization, the ability of real estate professionals to serve consumers, and the quality of life for members of the community. She has previously served the board as president and as co-chair of the RPAC legislative committee.

Amy, a third generation in the real estate business, has received the Diamond Achievement Award from the Iowa Association of REALTORS® nine times, each year from 2011-19, in recognition of over $10 million in sales. The achievement award program was discontinued after 2019.
